Install HDO BOX on iOS
HDO BOX is not on the App Store — but you can install it in minutes using AltStore, Sideloadly, or TrollStore. This guide walks you through every method step by step.
⚠ Sideloading Required — Not on the App Store
Apple does not allow third-party streaming apps in the App Store. To install HDO BOX on iOS you must sideload the IPA file using a tool like AltStore or Sideloadly. This process is safe and does not require a jailbreak. Choose your preferred method from the tabs below.
| Method | Difficulty | Requires PC | App Expires | iOS Version |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| AltStore | Easy | One-time | Every 7 days (free account) | iOS 12+ |
| Sideloadly | Easy | One-time | Every 7 days (free account) | iOS 10+ |
| TrollStore | Moderate | Not needed | Never | iOS 14–16.7 only |
Recommendation: Use AltStore if you're on any modern iOS version. Use TrollStore if your device is on iOS 14–16.7 (no expiry, no re-signing). Use Sideloadly as an alternative to AltStore.
What is AltStore? AltStore is a legitimate alternative app store for iOS. It uses your Apple ID to sign and install IPA files directly onto your device. The free version requires re-signing every 7 days (takes 10 seconds via Wi-Fi). A paid AltStore+ subscription ($1.99/mo) removes this limit.
AltServer is a small background app that stays running on your computer. You only need to set this up once.
Windows users: Install iTunes and iCloud from Apple's website (not the Microsoft Store versions) for AltServer to work correctly.
You can use any Apple ID including a free one. No payment method required. If you're concerned about privacy, create a separate Apple ID just for sideloading.
To install wirelessly (without USB), make sure your iPhone and computer are on the same Wi-Fi network and AltServer is running on your computer.
7-day refresh: Free Apple IDs expire apps after 7 days. To refresh, open AltStore while connected to Wi-Fi (with AltServer running) and tap "Refresh All". This takes only a few seconds.
What is Sideloadly? Sideloadly is a desktop app that lets you install any IPA file directly onto your iPhone or iPad by dragging and dropping. It works similarly to AltStore but has a simpler one-window interface. Free tier allows up to 3 apps per Apple ID every 7 days.
Windows users: Install iTunes from Apple's website (not Microsoft Store) before using Sideloadly.
.ipa file into the app window, or click the IPA icon to browse for it. Your device should be visible in the device list — select it.
If you use two-factor authentication (2FA), Sideloadly will ask for the 6-digit code sent to your other Apple device or SMS.
Re-sign every 7 days: Connect your phone, open Sideloadly, and drag the same IPA file again — the process takes about 30 seconds.
Why TrollStore? TrollStore exploits a CoreTrust bug to install apps permanently — they never expire and never need re-signing. No computer required after setup. Downside: Only works on specific iOS versions (14.0 – 16.7, some builds of 17.0). Not available on iOS 17.0.1+ or iOS 18.
Check your iOS version first. Go to Settings → General → About → iOS Version. TrollStore supports iOS 14.0 through 16.7 (and iOS 17.0 on some devices). If you are on iOS 17.0.1 or later — use AltStore or Sideloadly instead.
- iOS 14.0 – 15.4.1: Use TrollInstallerX or TrollMisaka
- iOS 15.5 – 16.6.1: Use the Tips app method — install TrollHelper via Tips, then install TrollStore
- iOS 16.7 / 17.0: Use TrollInstallerX (check trollstore.app for the latest tool)
Visit trollstore.app for the official up-to-date installation guide for your exact iOS version.
Make sure you're using Safari, not Chrome or Firefox. Only Safari can trigger the "Open with TrollStore" prompt on iOS.
.ipa file → tap "Open with TrollStore" from the share sheet. TrollStore will install the app permanently.
This is the best iOS installation method if your device is compatible. The app behaves exactly like a regular App Store app — it survives reboots and iOS updates within your supported range.
Sideloading with AltStore or Sideloadly is safe and does not modify iOS. These tools use Apple's own developer signing mechanism — the same one developers use to test apps. Your phone will not be jailbroken. The only risk is trusting the IPA file itself, which is why we link directly to the official HDO BOX source.
Yes, completely normal. When AltStore or Sideloadly signs an app, it registers a developer certificate under your Apple ID. You may see this in your Apple ID's security settings. It does not give any tool access to your iCloud data, purchases, or payment info.
Go to Settings → General → VPN & Device Management. Tap the entry under your Apple ID in the "Developer App" section. Tap "Trust [your Apple ID]" and confirm. After trusting, go back to your home screen and tap the app again — it will open normally.
Free Apple IDs only allow apps to be signed for 7 days. After that the certificate expires and the app won't open. To fix it: make sure AltServer is running on your computer, connect to the same Wi-Fi, open AltStore on your iPhone and tap "Refresh All". If using Sideloadly, reconnect your phone and re-install the same IPA file. TrollStore users are not affected by this — their apps never expire.
Yes. The same IPA file works on both iPhone and iPad. The process is identical — just connect your iPad instead of your iPhone. The app will run in full-screen mode on iPad and take advantage of the larger display.
Yes — AltStore and Sideloadly work on all iOS versions including iOS 17 and iOS 18. TrollStore is NOT compatible with iOS 17.0.1+ or iOS 18. If you are on iOS 17 or 18, use AltStore or Sideloadly.
If your device runs iOS 14.0 – 16.7, use the TrollStore method — no computer required at all. If you're on a newer iOS version without a computer, look into online signing services (like Esign or AppDB) which can sign and install IPA files through Safari, though these services have varying reliability.
Using Android? The Android version of HDO BOX is a simple APK install — no sideloading required. See the Android install guide →
