How to Install & Use Media ON

Download the APK

Tap Download v1.1.8 above. The APK file will be saved to your device's Downloads folder.

Allow Unknown Sources

When you open the downloaded file, Android will ask about unknown sources. Go to Settings → Install unknown apps and allow your file manager or browser to install APK files.

On Android 8+, tap Settings on the prompt and toggle "Allow from this source."

Install Media ON Player

Open the APK file from your notifications or Downloads folder. Tap Install and wait for it to finish.

Open HDO BOX and Tap Play

Launch HDO BOX, browse to any movie or TV episode and tap the play button. A prompt will appear asking which player to use.

Select Media ON — Choose "Always"

From the player selection prompt, choose Media ON and tap Always so you don't get asked again. Your content will start playing immediately.

Tapping "Always" sets Media ON as the default player for HDO BOX links — no more prompts every time you press play.
